23 Sep 17 Comment Our daughter lives in Amsterdam so we have seen this set-up fairly often. The image is better with the sky cut out, and would have been better if there had been more space in front of the horse. Sep 17th
23 Sep 17 Comment Photographing kids in the UK can be a nightmare - but despite all the fuss, it is not illegal. However it can lead to awkward confrontations. Best to ask permission which is often given.

23 Sep 17 Comment The background is all important. Far better to see it before you take the photo than have to clone out afterwards. Needless to say I don't always get it right! It is better cropped but with the tail feathers all in. In you could have waited until they were past the grey bar it would have been better. Sep 17th
