It was Topaz Texture Summer haze after I had darkened the sky using a 50% grey layer, opacity overlay and painted with a black brush at 15th opacity, then lightened the grass and windmills with a white brush at the same opacity. |

It's a good action shot. I am not sure about the position of the spectator's head - it would be better if it were not so close to the tennis player's head. If you did move it you would have problems cloning out his feet which appear through the racket! |

I agree that you need to keep the canal in, and it is well composed. However I think you can work on improving the weather and brightening the image, whilst also making the sky more dramatic. |

There is a nice recession to the right, but I wonder whether there is too much of the plants on the left. Does this crop work? |

Imaginative image. There is a connection on the right hand side, but the connection fails a little on the left hand side because of the empty white space. Could the birds be moved further in? |

Nice diagonal lines and it makes a good monochrome image - the right treatment. |

There are other possibilities - you could crop the boy out, add a filter and still have an interesting image |

A interesting image - I am not sure about the knobs at the bottom, but to eliminate them is also to eliminate the girl. What do you think? |

Did this in a rush and my computer kept stopping when I used Topaz and Nik. Still, my son is coming round tomorrow and he's an IT technician at my old school so he might be able to sort things out. I wonder whether the background is too dominant. I might try cutting him out and putting him against a suitable background - if I've got one |
