Excellent use of Reactor player - produces a real eerie feel about whole picture - I felt the dog could be a tad bigger. From my experience using RP it doesn't seem to work with every image and I get my best results when I apply the effect on a final resized image |

It certainly has been an interesting exercise in processing but found the final darkness of the picture overwhelming. |

You have certainly found your niche in cutting out animals.
I liked the effective b/g on which you pasted the bird. Just a little more processing around the Heron's feet would prevent the feeling of floating on air. |

A most interesting picture and made even more so by flipping the original - so one can read naturally from Lt to Rt.
Good composition and greatly improved further with the re working of the sky. |

Welcome to our Group - Paul. Looking forward to more interesting pictures from you. Your explanation helped me a lot and I can relate it to home territory seascapes when on very hot days (and they are getting more as the years pass by) the whole area seems to shimmer in the heat. I must admit I have never tried to capture the effect perhaps I should bear this in mind when summer arrives. |
