Hi Jerry,
When I competed in Photo Club contests or PSA exhibitions I would never dream of using purchased or free downloads or anything else that was not out of my own camera or dark room. However, this is not a contest or a competition and I checked and was assured it was quite OK to use purchased or free downloads like textures etc - just as it is OK for anyone to photograph Chihuly's or anyone else's glass creations and convert those photos creatively. |

I've been hearing a lot about the new Topaz AI Gigapixel lately and how good it is. Your using it with this image confirms all the hoopla. It did a good job defining the remains of the dandelion - very sharp where needed and then blurring and subduing the background. |

Another of your beautiful pairs of shoes artistically displayed! The only change I would make would be to reduce the amount of Poster Edges a bit. I think it's a little too strong in this image. |

Using the Topaz Glow filter has turned the pale original into a far more interesting image, giving it warmth and depth. Great job, Jerry. |

The Da Vinci Sketch treatment and colorization of the background work well with this interesting scene. I might be tempted to tone down the colour of the observer's shirt (blouse?). My eye tends to be drawn to that person rather than to the ostrich. |

Hi Cindy,
You really have become very proficient at painting in Photoshop. Those whiskers look absolutely 3D! Your treatment of the eyes is great, too. Wonderful job. |

Hi Pat,
Welcome to Group 20! "On the Way Home" really takes me back to the English country side with the wonderful fields full of rape plants. What a sight they always are! Your composition and manipulation in Photoshop are super. I would not crop out the tree - it is an integral part of the scene.
I see from your Bio that you are a Londoner. Which part of London? I'm originally from Tottenham - but not a supporter of the Hotspurs! |
