The composition of your original image was very good but your technique transformed it wonderfully. This is absolutely SUPER. In my opinion it is the best image that you have ever entered. Full marks for a stunning presentation! |

Thank you, Nancy. And I'm glad to see you back in the Group. I hope all your hacking problems are now a thing of the past and maybe next month you will feel like entering an image again. |

If you started with a Black and white photo (I would have liked to have seen the original), you handled the colour of the water very well. I think I would not have bothered to colour the bottom left corner as it pulls the interest away from the swan. In fact, I think I would have cropped the left side about a third of the way in from the edge. |

Did you improve this image? Absolutely! Your clever treatment gave it pizzazz and depth whereas before it was just a faded old sign.. Well done. |

The touch of Poster Edges filter was just right for this image.
It added interest without overpowering. Very tasteful -- if you'll pardon the pun. |

You are right about the lower stump on the branch, Cindy. I had meant to get rid of it but forgot about it until it was too late. |

The instructions are in my "How I Did It." It was just that simple. |

Of course it isn't too difficult to do, Shirley. If I can do it, anyone can. |
