Brad and Alan, thanks for your comments. The cloud was the hardest job. I could not lift it higher because then the girls were looking below it. Perhaps a cloud shadow on the wall would improve the image.

A very powerful and well composed image. As Alan noted you are a master of blending. I will try your directions.
The two very light mountains in the back bother me a little.
They seem very flat.

Wonderful! This image oozes emotion. To me it seems to say 'this is the last time I leave this room'. This image had to be in B/W. I still would have liked to see the entire head. |

I love what you did with the background. It is beautiful.
I almost feel the lathe is covering too much of the beautiful forest.
The lathe is very sharp but I feel it does no fit in the forest. Perhaps a smaller pottery wheel, having a relationship with the vases, would be more appropriate. |

Another sharp and powerful image. Remove the green, it adds
nothing to the image. I like the background but it is too similar in tone to the gorilla. If it was slightly darker,
or maybe lighter, the gorilla would stand out more. |
