19 Jun 18 Comment nice photo, Tracy. I think the sky might look different if the picture was vertical and that might change the effect of the lights on the side. I concur with the comments of the others.

I do have one concern that I will write you about.

19 Jun 18 Comment Carroll, some of your snap shots are better than my planned photos. The positive things from my perpsetive incudes the bokeh, the color, the spontaneity, putting the lady on the edge of sunlight (I bet you did that without being aware of it). Fixable things include the pitch of the submitted pictue - the water is going to fun right out of the scene. Jun 24th
19 Jun 18 Comment Nice shot, Norm/ I especially like the flowers in the foreground. The use of the rest of the shrubbery is excellent technique but I have a couple of suggestions. Get a bit higher if you can and look down slightly You don't need all that cloudy sky. Make the living shrub frame a bit lighter by zooming to show more of the center of the photo. The shrubs are your natural vignette. Think about coming back to the site near dusk so you still have light on the buildings but the windows will have some light (signifying people) in them. Nice depth of field but if you need more, you can crank that ISO. Jun 24th
19 Jun 18 Comment Great photo, Stan! The color is perfect and the picture seems tack sharp. ISO 4000. Amazing, I see no objectional noise. Tripod manufacturers will be lobbying for a change.

The picture really is beautiful and a definite wall shot.

19 Jun 18 Comment Harriet, when the cow "spoke" to you, what did she say? (" eat more chicken...").
Definitely a clever and humorous shot and done with a cell phone ! YOu certainly 'made' a good picture.

19 Jun 18 Comment The weight is compelling. The picture demands attention and it takes the eye a moment to realize that we are looking from behind the statue.

However, the bright light on the mid-left is too distracting. My eyes keep going back to that spot. The statue is a bit too dark and could help to balance the images.

On the other hand, you just can't ignore the unique uses of light and dark masses. Great technique, John! Bravo
