The excellent and appropriate forground object that is repeated in the midground log with the Yosemite canyon wall in the background make an interesting and unique but still recognizable Yosemite image. Mnochrome is an excellent choice and I like the "true black" tones in the foreground. |

Sorry, I am late to the show. I was surprised the sign has not been mentioned, I think it is an important part of the story with those three old guys on the bench, two without shirts, "There's so much to sea at NYC's only aquarium" I think this adds to the humor of the scene. Well done. |

Selection of monchrome presentation was an excellent choice and the tonal valus are very good. We are looking up so the image has and should have perspective distorion, obviously this is what we would see, however I personally would like the line through the cross in the center to be verticle, in other words a bit of rotation to the left. |

Picturesque buildings with good sky and a nice country setting. I think I would like it better however with a crop on the right about halfway to the church and a little more space on the left. |

I agree, I was taught once to do a "border patrol" around my images when I thought I had it. If I had done this, I would of seen that distracting fragment. |

I like the doorstop as the subject and consider it a good one. I personally think the red glove competes and distracts. I personally prefer it with the glove cropped back to just the fingers pointing us to the doorstop. |
