Beautiful shot and excellent composition with the boat at the lower left 1/3 point and the mountain balancing at the upper right. Your saturation selection is dramatic but feels real. Blest with a beautiful sceen, excellent light, and a cooperative fisherman. I suspect at least part of that was good planning and execution of the plan. |

It looks like many of them are actually nesting on this tiny little island with the risk of the nests being flooded and lost with just a minor increase in water depth. I like the bird flying through the shot. Some bird photographers are using "Pro-Capture" or whatever a vendor calls it. This allows pressing the shutter 1/2 way to start storing images in a buffer. When you push the shutter fully down it stores the images in the buffer and maybe some number of shots after. Then you pick the one you want and in this case where the bird is in the picture. This technique has been used in heart monitors for decades to capture some of the past and future when an event is suspected or detected. |

I had not detected the reflection of the boat until I clicked on the thumbnail and it became obvious. The knot is well done with the tail of the rope well arrainged. You have captured the textures of the wood very well. The fine details of the wood, rope and reflection make the image. |

Excellent detail in the well placed windmill. The windmill feels to me like it is facing into the frame which it should. The communication tower on the far left might be considered a distraction, it will be interesting to see if others feel that way and I was tempted to not say anything yet, but I might be starting the dialogue on that. |
