The pavement is not wet but it is high quality polished stone or something similar. This is a first class city square. |

This is one of the standard borders in NIK Silver Efex. FWhen I say standard, I think it is number 11, but after selecting it there are several sliders to adjust it. In this case I pretty much minimized it. Where strokes and borders are normally applied outside the image, NIK applies theese over the edges of the image itself, so it can be a problem if there is detail near the edge. |

With no detail in the sky, I sometimes use black or near black. I like the way it sets off the buildings and sometimes just dark skies look noisy. The wide angle of that iPhone lens did exaggerate the fountain. It was difficult to get the perspective and tilt right for all vertical lines. I don't usually tone my monos, but decided to give it a try. Perhaps I should have made it more obvious. |
