I just looked back at this again, and it hit me as very pleasing. Sometimes instead of looking at the details, we need to just enjoy the overall effect of an image. Well done. |

Strange, when I looked at the thumbnail, I just thought it was going to be a bunch of busy branches, but when I clicked to open it up, I went, Wow! just like Jerry. A wonderful specimen of a tree well positioned with a building that adds interest strategically framed by a branch just over the door. Well done. |

I like the low camera position you used instead of holding it at normal eye level. I like the server and the staff behind her. I don't think the customer so close and his drink on the shelf add to the image. Perhaps a crop would take care of the customer, maybe also the drink. A shot like this might provide the opportunity to be off to the side shooting several transactions and picking your favorite. |

I like the picture pretty much the way it is, but I can't help but wonder if you have another taken from a step to the right if his body would cover the details that are just above and to the left of his shoulder. Frankly, this monochrome looks a lot like something that could be a classic image. |

You really brought out the detail from a relatively blah color image. I think your crop was excellent. Most "Glyph" pictures don't grab me much, but the mono of this does the job. |

I think this is a very effective image just the way it is. I don't think color could add anything to this and it might be distracting from the message. One thing I would consider is some perspective correction or just a bit of rotation to get the vertical lines on the tank vertical. It is also just fine the way it is. |

I find myself just enjoying the shot. The stark hallway with the strong repetition of doors, the arched ceiling, it all goes together to create the impact. I would prefer the sign not be there, but I don't think you can effectively just crop it out. My guess is you could not stand back farther to minimize it. Moving forward to take the shot might work, but somehow getting closer to the benches might have a negative impact. Nice shot. |

I will let you comment and pick a favorite, color or mono. I think I like mono. |
