I think I like the image just the way you have it. I don't think you can improve it with any additional cropping. I don't know what color these eggs are, but I suspect they are just the way you have them so I wouldn't try to make them "pop" anymore. This is a very nice image and a great documentation for the owner of an Emu family. An important part of an Emu story. |

A very nice well composed image. Yes, you could of closed down the aperture a stop or two for more depth of field since you were on a tripod, but I don't know that I can see any significant problem with the image. I think you are focused on the alter with enough depth of field to capture it well. You could argue that letting the pews get a little soft was what the artist intended. I don't think it hurt the image. I like the colors and the light on the floor. It might be interesting to work on some straightening, I like these type of images to be very "formal". You can do it with transform functions in Lightroom or Photoshop or most other programs. An interesting thing to try is "Warp Transform" You can get it selecting all (Cntrl-A) and opening a transform. If you click the little "Warp Mode" icon to the left of the check mark and cancel icons at the top, now there are about 10 handles around the image to warp it in countless ways. Sometimes this works better than to lose parts of the image with some other straightening methods. My guess is you had the camera tilted slightly down and the columns ended up tilted out. Often you are better off getting the camera level side to side and front to back, then you might need to zoom out a bit and crop later. |

If you like the "negative space" to the left of the fountain, I would keep it in the image. It makes the fountain look sort of lonely and I like that. The fountain is not exactly straight vertically and I think it should be. The tones of blue on the wall are perhaps a bit unusual but they work well with the white fountain. |

Abhijeet, and all. I have a preference for a fully black background on a lot of my monochrome images. It tends to make the image very dramatic and this is especially true in this case. Everything that is important is parallel to plane of focus and very little depth of field was needed, hence f/3.5 was adequate. Also the Micro 4/3 sensor being a bit smaller has better depth of field anyway. |

This is a very nice image. I like that you have included the harbor at the bottom and the hills and sky at the top. It is an interesting village between them. The misty look of the hills in the background is a contrast with the sharp geometry of the village and the boats in the harbor. The overall effect is very pleasing to me. |

Bartenders are known for good drinks and clean bars, but not for creativity in other things. Listen to us, not him. Not many people including me would see the potential in the shot. The design is busy and complex, but that gives it the power to make us contemplate the image. I think the complexity would be more focused if you cropped the bottom up just about to the bottom of the top glasses. Good eye to visualize what you could capture here. |

I think I like the way you processed the main picture. They are all pleasing. I think the subtle light antique vignette is very suitable for the image. I am not a fan of darkening vignettes on most images if they hit me as a vignette. I think this is a very pleasing image. |
