Interesting nature shot, and right in your backyard! Great detail on the head and eyes. The green color helps him stand out against the background, and the head is well framed between the blades of grass and the twig under his mouth. Does not look like anything to mess around with! |

Scary good image, Steven. I've only seen alligators once, also in Florida. I like the close up shot and the massive head filling the frame. Nice focus on the eyes. |

Love this, Paul! Very creative and useful to have an alligator head ready to spring into action.
Great shot, it looks like something out of a horror movie. The monochrome works very well here, and the fog adds mystery to the image. |

Great shot of the snake, effective pose, and wonderful sharpness on the eyes and head. The depth of field makes the neck and head stand out by blurring the rest of the body.
The rock on the upper left is a little distracting, due to its light tones. Possibly darkening it a little would help keep the attention on the snake. |

Nice monochrome treatment, this lends itself to the subject and lighting. The eyes make this photo, it looks a little menacing or maybe contemplative. |
