Hi, Steve, Thank you for your comments. The black branch was there when the image was shot; I liked it because the inverse of the curve mimicked the top of one of the birds. So, I used a similar curve for the title. |

Nice perspective created by the wall on the left and the leading lines of the stones in the grass. I like the color contrast between the ground and the stones of the church. |

A very graphic, modern take on the theme. The yellow diagonals make the image dynamic, and frames the center of interest, the figure. |

This is a place that is so mysterious and beautiful, and you have captured that in your shot. Nice detail on the buildings and overall color. I like the foreground detail, and to me, all of the sand surrounding the island is part of the mystery of the monastery. |

Good decision to make it monochrome, you highlighted the movement of the crowd without the distraction of color. I like the contrast of the hard architectural details of the building against the softness of the crowd. |

The filter adds a look of the past to the image. It is a beautiful shot, with the interest of the door details and the look of the girl in costume. |

Thank you, Larry! If you love bird photography, this is a must-see. There are thousands of Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese during the migrations. I designed this for a post card competition for the Chicago Area Camera Clubs, and it did win an award.
As a 4"x6"print, it did not show noise, but I agree that there is a lot of noise on the digital image. I will run it through Topaz DeNoise to get rid of it.
Again, thank you for the comments, they made my day! |
