Am I that predictable Barbara? :)
I'm sure that many many more people will know the song and the corner but not have been there. It was quite an experience. |

Glad it brings back good memories. A group that was often on our playlist for that holiday. |

Wow, that's quite a road. I like the fact that the road doesn't rigidly follow the fence as in the distance, the road twists but the fence keeps keeps travelling in a pretty straight line. As you say, that must be quite a maintenance job, driving along and stopping to repair as required. |

Love the low level view with the road markings working as leading lines. The low clouds make you think that this road could become quite hazardous to drive, quite quickly. |

That's quite a winding road, climbing a lot. Lots of hairpin corners, I'm sure? The low level of the cloud is another indicator that the hotel is high in the hills. |

Is this a language thing? Roadway / railway?
As Barbara has said, I like the sweep of the rails and the overhead lines, as well as the warning sign for people at the bottom. |

A common sight at many an airport. I'm sure that there are many smaller airports that may look different but the majority of the ones that I go through look like this.
The cars seem to be on starting grid, ready to shoot off to their next pick up, taking out any unfortunate flyers who are having difficulty maneuvering their case! :) |
