13 Oct 24 Reply Thanks Wendy. As I said to Russell, I had intended to crop but forgot when I sent the image into Tim. Oct 21st
13 Oct 24 Reply Thanks Russell. I had meant to crop to the brick, about 1/5 of the way up, but forgot when I prepped and posted to Tim. Oct 19th
13 Oct 24 Reply Thank you Jennifer.
I am not sure what you are trying to say unless it was about the shadow in the bottom left corner. That is the shadow of the sign which, unfortunately, got cropped.

13 Oct 24 Reply Thanks Barbara. Of all of our US road trips, this was the one we wanted to do the most and it more than lived up to our hopes. Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Reply Thank you Tim. There were so many of these views during the trip. Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Comment Apart from the porch, I would say that that looks like a serviceable building as the walls look sound and the roof looks OK, if a little rusty. Makes me wonder if it could be made useable again? Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Comment Love the colours in the windows and brickwork. The 'ghost writing' just gives clues as to what the shop sold. However, for me, it is rather too tightly cropped and I don't get a feel for what is around it. Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Comment It looks like it would have been quite an imposing building, and as a school, somewhere the pupils would have liked to go. It would be interesting to know if it could be developed as another community building or even a hotel or private dwelling. Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Comment Presumably a farm building of some sorts? I like the mooted, sepia feel to the colours which gives it an aged look. Oct 15th
13 Oct 24 Comment An interesting doorway and I like how half is covered with ivy, while the other side is still stonework. The piece of wood does not look like a secure way of securing the door but it may have other protection behind the boarding. You have to wonder why churches close and what that says about the local neighbourhood. Oct 15th
