Thanks Russell. I have tried it in B&W but find that, in this case, I prefer the slight red hue. |

Thanks Tim. I like titles. Others don't. I think the right title helps an image a lot. To be fair though, this was merely a description. :) |

Thanks Barbara. I think the seeing comes from taking a photo a day as it forces me to keep looking at everyday items in different ways. I may walk past the same object 3 or 4 times then, all of a sudden, I see an mage in it. |

Thanks Paul. I have presented this image before with a crop similar to the one you suggested. I'm not sure why I didn't use that one here. |

To me, this is all about lines. The lines of the branches, the shadows of the branches, the benches and the slopes of the mountain. They all lead you to base the tree. Great use of light and shadows and well seen. |

A great study into solid items and their softer shadowy sides. B&W helps minimise what we see, here just the statue and its shadow without having to think of the colours. |

A gorgeous image. It works so well in B&W so well done on going that way. I much prefer this to the coloured version. A very good example of the use of light and the capturing of the small shadows. Well done! |

In particular, I love the bottom half of this image with the shadows, beams of light and the leading lines. The golden colouring works well. I might just crop below the bright white light though as I find that a distraction. |

I like the interaction of the vertical and diagonal lines. The sand provides further undulations and adds curves to the straight lines. Well done. |

It doesn't really matter how the effects were achieved, this is a great image. It makes good use of the light. My only point would be the large amount of white in the bottom right. |
