Thanks Judith. I did try flipping it but felt it looked better in its natural state, with the pebbles dripping down from the seaweed, left to right.
The border I tried originally, I felt was too dark, and decided to keep with the white one I used for mounting. |

Thanks Barbara. The sweep of the pebbles to the seaweed caught my eye first. |

We all mis-read at times Tim. I wouldn't worry. |

A good composition and range of blacks and greys and whites. Personally, I like the bubble as it breaks up the dark patch of water and gives a secondary focus when you're moving around the image. The image is split, diagonally, giving an area of leaves and and area of water. |

A great perspective image. The road disappearing into the distance and the sign appearing on your right.
I may have cropped a little from the bottom and slightly less from the top to give it a more panoramic look. Otherwise, another great location to shoot. |

This location has great potential for this and other images. To me, like some of the others, I find the total black too overbearing. It has almost a silhouette quality to it. I find the top section more interesting than the bottom though. |

A great image that works in layers. I would have preferred the moon to be slightly lower so that you could have cropped off a bit of the sky. However, unlike Judith, I feel the image works best from dark, at the bottom, to light at the top. The shades of sky and cloud at the island level really help to pick out the shape of the island. |

Great use of InfraRed, really giving the vegetation an other-world look. The tree is nicely positioned and the path leads you through the image from left to right. |

You know it's not that minimal, so I won't mention that. :)
I like the shades of grey in the foliage but feel that the blacks are a bit heavy and merge into each other. The area around the central point of interest is just a little hard to see. Finally, the bright sky does over-power the background but, overall, it is a nice garden scene. |
