13 May 21 Comment The lighting and the colours are very good as is the background. The bees are both in good positions (good bee wrangling skills there!) and really add to the image. May 10th
13 May 21 Comment I like the subtle colours here and glad you've not gone wild and made them more vibrant. Personally, I'm not too worried about the background as it shows the magnolia flowers in their natural environment. It's not always possible to isolate flowers and insects and birds, so why not show them naturally? May 10th
13 May 21 Comment The less glamorous but equally relevant side of the life of a butterfly. It was obviously an attractive insect in its day and would have stood out well amongst the leaves. I don't find the twig a distraction, almost the contrary as it provides a lead in to the dead insect. May 10th
