Thanks Judith although I didn't create the rain. It was already there, all around me. I just used the windscreen to shoot through it. Thanks for the crop option but, for me, that loses the sense of scale as well as the clouds in the sky. |

Thanks Barbara. We're changing many of our yellow sodium lights to the more environmentally friendly halogen ones. The problem is that they just emit a boring white light. |

Thanks Paul. I guess having sat in cars in the rain so often, you find a way to make the most of it, photographically. |

Thanks Tim. Yes, just an example of getting different types of weather on the same day! :) |

A simple portrait but one that captures the fun that these two were having. You've retained texture in the snow and colour in their clothing. |

A nicely created image and I love the sky/background effect. |

This has an almost abstract feel to it with the white snow and black branches against the white background. Simplistic but effective. |

I would disagree that this is an improvement as it has lost the lovely leads to be replaced by more sparkles, which are probably more of a dead space. |

A gorgeous and arty interpretation of the scene. Lovely colours with the dark background which help to bring them out even more.
I disagree with the comments on negative space though. There was no negative space just more leaves which were part of the image. |

An interesting take on the theme although, like Paul, I couldn't see that it was wet until I saw your explanation. The B&W treatment is apt here and the composition is spot on. |

I must say that I like the image as it is. It's street photography and, as such, does not need pieces removed. The tree provides one of the natural walls for the snow to build up against and the blue (electricity/phone?) box one of the manmade walls. The snow has texture in it and isn't blown out and you can see the snowflakes falling too. Good image. |
