Paul, the metal thing hanging down is the old doorbell. :) |

A great image and another that works well as a B&W image. The composition is simple yet effective with the barrels eitehr side of the door.
For me, the barrels on the right are a little too bright and I'd have preferred them to be more like the ones on the left, just enough light to outline them. However, I appreciate that we have to make the most of the lighting that we are given. Great image. |

A very geometric image with the viewer being guided through the image by the interceding lines of the walls. The minimal palette of colours helps to keep this a simple, yet complex, image. |

I love this. My type of image. The aged, run-down colours in a random pattern works well in your favour. As Kathleen said, the dark shape bottom left, looks like a figure looking into the scene and towards the window and door. Well spotted. |

You have done well with the treatment to give it the old feeling that it still preserves. The composition is great too, with the two doors 'linked' by the arched ceiling. Well done. |

An interesting view, both of the close-up handle and, as Barbara said, what lies beyond. In particular, I like the left hand side of the image - the outside world diffused by the mesh. |
