Another colourful insight into a life we rarely get to experience. |

If there's one thing we do well here, it's ruins! :)
You've done well to capture the complementary colours of the walls and the grass. It's a shame about the sky though as it seems a little washed out. |

A good image and one that made me think who I agreed with. Sharon or Barbara? Personally, for me, because of the size of the island I feel that you could have removed some of the sand. This would have had the added effect of moving the horizon further from the centre. A stormier sky would have been good but the blue line of sky on the horizon wold probably made it look strange.
Makes me want to go back to St Michael's Mount here in Cornwall in the UK. I'm down there quite often but have not visted the Mount in a while! |

Great to capture these birds in flight. Not an easy thing to do and they also co-operated in providing a good composition too. You have captured the light and the colours very well although I did wonder about the black shadow/branch at the bottom which I found distracting? |

I love this Kathleen, it sums up what you wanted to say, so well. I agree that the B&W effect makes you concentrate on the flow of the people but it also gives it a documentary/journalistic feel too, which I love.
It's a style that I appreciate although not been able to replicate as well as I'd like to. Perhaps I should use this as inspiration, and try again! Well done! |

The green/sepia toning works well here, adding a touch of age to the image. The woman is well presented against the door and you can make out some texture in the door as well. |
