The ferry breaks the horizon at a good height. The blue of the water and the sky and the flashes on the ferry help to show the lovely area and the place the ferry occupies in the scene. I agree that the small outcrop of land helps to place the ferry in relation to how far out it is. |

This works well once you realise, as Kathleen says, that it is going away from you. The tree does well to highlight the wires and frame above the tram. I prefer the cropped version which removes the partial car. A good street scene. |

Another of your great images showing the commotion in your city. The red tram is nicely filling the frame and well positioned.
Once seen, the 'smiling tram' though cannot be forgotten! :) |

A great image. As with the others, my attention goes straight to the two girls. The flare on the green post did distract me too but that could easily be rectified.
I'm assuming that this is in the States due to the 'Blick Boston Grand Opening' poster? However, the 'Discover Ipswich and Essex' made me think it was here in the UK. |

I too like the gentle curve of the rail lines, taking you away into the distance. The sun shining through the trees onto the tracks is a good touch.
It would have been nice to have the front of the train at the bottom, moving into the image or, alternatively, the front of a train at the top moving down. However, I know that you cannot always arrange these things at a time that suits. :) |
