A great series of arches that take you through the image to the focal point, the man, in the distance. It was nice that they painted the columns and the walls red for you Wendy, as it certainly gives the image even more punch. :)
There's good lighting on the walls and the floor too that adds to this image. |

A classic leading lines image with the bridge and the rope lines all taking you across the river to the other side.
It doesn't look too high or too wobbly, so I hope it was OK to walk across. You do see some bridges like this and think... "No!". :) |

This works so well with the shape and direction of the small leaves pointing to the centre of the plant. Also, the damselfly itself is acting as a pointer to the same place.
The lighting (a vignette?) works well to darken the edges and keep the eye o the lighter, centre of the image.
Very well seen. |

The lines of the wall/memorial sweeps you round the scene to the red flags in the distance. The lighter inlaid stones and the incense holders help to provide other lines as well. |

I love the converging lines of the columns and the effect they have of leading the eye to the top of the doorway(?). The colouring and lighting works well too. Well done. |

The fence, the trees and the line of leaves help your eye travel down this alley to the fence at the end. The bare branches and the leaves on the ground show that this is very much autumn.
A couple of comments - it may be my monitor but the image seems to have a purple cast to it. Also, how about a crop just below the tops of the trees to remove the white sky? |
