This is not sand painting. This is simply the effect in the sand after the tide has gone out. The darker areas are just the different coloured sand, mixed with the 'normal' yellow beach sand. |

A great example of what you can do when you play post shot. It really creates a very different image to the one that you photographed. It would make a good book cover or something. |

Welcome to the Group Wendy and this is a great introduction. The B&W treatment works very well here and the texture of the netting and the water all help make a great image.

Gorgeous abstract Barbara. As Fat says, you can enter such a new world when you go in deep with a macro. The colours and the texture are great. |

I love miniature images and very shallow depth of field and these combine together very well. I'm sure that there is much you can do with such a set up. I really must play like this one day. |

A very effective treatment. The colours are good and the addition of the yellow border on the outside, complements the centres of the flowers. |
