For me, the image does not suggest fog but just looks unsharp.

The rider is well placed in the frame with lots of space to progress into.
I agree with Susan that it would help greatly if the rider could be made to stand out more.

31 Sep 23 Comment Susan, the structure at lower right is small lighthouse on 'The Groyne'. This structure sticks out into the river and the lighthouse is to prevent shipping trying to go to the left, which would be a disaster! The far structure is the south pier. The fort is where I was standing. Sep 6th
