I agree with Nick that some increase in contrast could be worth playing about with.

The waves are essential as they add so much to the effect.

31 Jun 23 Comment Ian, a good first effort, as Ella says, studio portraiture is not easy.
As has already been pointed out, that arm is too bright.
Although I did attend a portrait workshop quite some years ago, I have made very few portraits except at club evenings.
I feel the image is somewhat too tightly cropped at the top.
Also, there is some artefact or other which 'connects' the model's head to the edge of the frame.		 Jun 13th

Presumably it was necessary to hang over the edge in order to get the complete bend in the frame! All too often such bends are truncated in the images that we see.

The horses will have been moved to another field.
