Ella, well up to your usual high standard.
I agree about the branch and that is a shame because, as you mention, it would preclude this image being used in a nature section.
However, the image would still be worthwhile as a pictorial entry. |

Susan, simply a super flower 'portrait'.
I cannot suggest anything to improve your result. |

Ed, there is certainly potential here for a great image.
For me there is too much sky in the frame, and I would suggest a crop. The foreshortening produced by the long lens has been very effective. Also, a play with contrast could lift the image. |

Nick, an excellent image from a very difficult subject.
The result is a triunph.

Ian, a very interesting subject.
I must agree with the others concerning the contrast in the 'face'. Nick's image points the way I suggest that you take this image.
The central placement of the statue is very effective. |

Peter, we see many images from this location.
I like the way you have really made one car the main focus with the buildings relegated to the background. A different approach to many and one which is very effective. |

Thanks Peter, abstraction was the intention! |

Nick, Thank you for your comments.
An interesting idea but I probably have another image which does not include the cylindrical structure. I shall have a look! |
