31 Oct 22 Comment Ella, an interesting subject for mono but I do see that it is a good subject for conversion.
On my laptop it is quite dark so it may benefit from a touch more brightness.
This is a good study of the species, a species which does not appear in my butterfly guid so probably does not appear in Europe. That makes the image even more interesting to me.

The composition is strong with the 'v' shape.
I agree with Peter's comments and his version is stronger.
You have an image here which is well worth pusuing.

I do actually like both versions of the image.
Perhaps the cropped version helps by removing the bright areas on the rockface which could be said to distract from the water.		 Oct 10th

The details one can discover on these custom bikes are wonderful.

I did raise the contrast but it was necessary to protect the highlights.
