Ella, an interesting subject.
I like the way the angler is framed by the land and the trees.
I would consider darkening the light sky directly above the fisherman as it is a bit of a distraction.
Your image makes me wonder about visiting the Northumberland rivers to look for such a scene! |

Ed, an very interesting subject.
Well photographed and processed.
I do wonder if the window towards the bottom and the structure at the top are not helping the effect. But what could be done?
I will be interested to read what the other members have to say!
I do like the image. |

Nick, an excellent mono landscape.
I particularly like the way the snow lines form contrasting angles. I wonder if the dark trees at bottom left are a distraction? |

Peter, an iconic subject well photographed as usual.
Your processing is masterful as always and I must investigate these techniques... |

Nick, thank you for the very useful comments.
Symmetry is difficult as other elements intrude at the base.
I agree that work on contrast may help.
As the location is quite close to home I may revisit and rephotograph this image. |
