Nick, wow that is some rock.
Very well processed resulting in a very effective image.
The figures do provide scale but the waves also achieve that.
But the figures would convince some judges as to the scale! |

Ian, a very dramatic image.
As Nick comments, a bit more space on the right would have improved the image. However it is very effective as it stands.
A member of my club produces many such images which are very successful in competitions. |

I did resist the temptation to boost the contrast, in fact I probably reduced the contrast somewhat. |
