Ella, an interesting image.
Almost an outdoor still life!
Showing the environment both near and far adds real context.
The statues themselves are very well shown. |

Paul, a really nice image.
This is something that many, including myself, try to achieve but rarely end up with a result as good as this one.
I really like the image just as it is. |

Ed, wow what a superb still life image!
Interestingly I was browsing through some old exhibition catalogues and I came across an image which was broadly similar in style to this shot.
I think that image won an award.
The inclusion of the egg is so important here as it nicely balances the flower.

Michael, lovely clouds.
I really like the inclusion of the foreground weeds.
For me, that adds much to the image.
Perhaps, as has been suggested, they could be lightened.
I am unsure about that. |

Ian, a super rendition of the cathedral which captures the power of the building.
I have only seen this building from a distance but this image makes me want to visit Liverpool again.
Should be easy to do - just a train ride from Newcastle Central Station! |

I am with Ian as I had no idea that this was a composite until I read your notes.
Another superb image.
It is interesting just what a difference that little foreground cross makes. |

Peter, Yes that dark band should really be removed. |

Michael the finger is perhaps not pointing to anything except the next bush.
However it was pointing north which may have been the intention.
Hopefully the owner found the glove. |
