A super spiky plant just made for mono.
I have been plagued by halos for a while and it they may have contributed to a run of poor exhibition results.
However you may be right about the cause here being from the backlighting.
It does not soil the image for me. I like the shot.

And here we have another image which I am impressed by.
To take such humble items and to combine them into such an image is to be applauded.

I understand where Peter is coming from re the sky but, for me, the top of the sky seems to balance nicely with the water.		 Sep 12th

I can remember BSA and Sunbeam scooters and I once had can NSU Prima myself.

A good subject for mono.
