Cacti in the Alps? Possibly a future result of global warming?
Seriously though, without the cacti this image could well be set in many other places.
An intriguing image with the juxtaposition of the cactus and the mountain with the wooden statues in between. |

Another of your super people shots.
The shadows are great and the action is very well captured. |

An interesting subject well seen and captured.
It is intriguing that all the vehicles seem to much the same type.
The effect of your processing helps greatly to tell the story. |

I love rocks!
And I love this image.
The use of f22 has been very effective in extracting the details and the processing has been very effective in showing the details.
I am inspired to return to my local rocks! |

Peter, another effective and attractive landscape image.
As usual your processing is an object lesson to the rest of us.
It is good to see a lesser known arch portrayed.
The best viewpoints are often the most awkward so well done for taking the effort to make good use of this view.
Well done with the Galaxies. I am at Galaxy 6 for PIDc and hope to attack Galaxy 7 in the New Year... |

Ian, avoiding your reflection was essential and I know how difficult that is with this sort of subject!
This is a subject I have a go at when there is a motorcycle show at North Shields.
Although I am not a Harley fan the details in these bikes is wonderful.
Your image is excellent and shows us the photographic potential in these machines. |

Guy, thank you for visiting our Group.
I did feel myself that the image was too complicated. Because the day was not a 'serious' photographic trip the only lens I had with me was an 18-55mm zoom.
A longer lens would have enabled me to crop in to various interesting parts of the structure.. However, for me, the bonus is the amazingly smooth backdrop of the river.
Find edges is an interesting idea. |
