Actually the building closing the far end of the composition probably helps quite a bit. Perhaps the building could be darkened somewhat?

But it works.
In colour it would be simply a nature image and would perhaps be too tightly cropped for that genre.

The details in the mountains really say Scotland.
The diagonal line which points down to the church is very effective.

31 Mar 21 Reply Paul, Initially I tried Silver Efex but it was not working for me.
I really struggled to get this one processed well and I eventually settled for a compromise.
I shall take all comments on board as I feel that the image is worth the effort.		 Mar 13th
