I agree with the previous comments, the image seems to need something.
But what?
I had a quick play in Silver Efex Pro and applied the Fine Art preset which does seem to help a little. |

The image does look a touch brighter on the website than it does on my original, which is interesting. Perhaps that is something I should look at. |

The foreground shape looks a bit like a fish!
Your processing has certainly produced a successful image.
Paul's comment about graininess may be correct but some of these surfaces will be somewhat grainy in any case.

This is certainly an interesting and somewhat enigmatic image.
The figure is intriguing as it is not immediately apparent, except from the caption, which way that person is going. Peter is correct with regard to the timing. |
