Rashid,
Certainly a decent enough portrait of the guy but it does seem to lack a certain something. I reckon that Ian's comments are worth consideration. |

Ella, a terrific portrait, spoilt only by that shadow! |

Great stuff Paul.
An interesting subject well photographed and perfect for monochrome.
The crop is just right, as is the vignetting. |

Peter, yes this is a location familiar to me!
I fact, when I glance at the group page my first reaction is that I have posted the wrong image. This is a location that has provided me with some salon acceptances.
As I found myself at the scene, the little stream can greatly improve the foreground, as shown here. The sky is very good and is typical of Rannoch Moor.
All round a very pleasing landscape.I particularly like the highlights on the poor old tree. |

Ian, a super image indeed which would be improved by applying Peter's suggestions.
As far as the person reflected is concerned I am in two minds. As Paul has said it does add a little something to the image. |

Thanks Paul. You changes do seem to have improved the image. |

Thanks Peter. I did look at the foreground twig with a view to a crop but decided against it.
I made several exposures at the time but they all have that same feature.
On reflection it is best to tone that area down as you suggest. |
