A card any girl would love to receive. The frame is most appropriate and the colouring just right. The Rose behind the poem placed just perfectly though perhaps a photo of a rose from the top might have shown up a bit better. All well combined, lovely card. |

A very effective image. I like the way you have darkened away the unwanted background. However I personally feel you have cropped the sides just a little too close. |

Is that a dog walking beside the man? It would add reason to the picture. Most important for me is to give him a head! Then this is a very gripping image. |

I did not even see the cat till I read the comments from the others. it should be a white cat or have a paler background. I just wondered who the woman was talking to and was about to comment on that fact. The crucifix is so dominant that I feel she should be facing that. Nothing ties the two "subjects" to each other. The colour of the store room is excellent |

What a coy look from the girl! A lovely outfit she is wearing and very inviting. The lace collar of the man however is not typical of a miner. In line with the intention I feel that a darker atmosphere would make it a little more sinister. A nice image all round otherwise. |

This is a fascinating image in that the effect on the stone frame looks as if it was also under water. Is this what you wanted or should that be a stone frame with a hole full of water? If the whole is under water I feel there should be part of yet another frame to show us the limit of the water. As it is it leaves me wondering. |
