20 Nov 17 Comment I think I prefer version 1 rather than the blueish effect. It emphasises the contrast between the grotty warehouse wall and the delicate shoes. Definitely like the expanse of wall on the left. Agree with the others about the shadow though. A photographers photo - excellent! Nov 11th

54 Nov 17 Comment A fascinating image that captivated my interest for some considerable time. I do like the background which is attractive without being intrusive. However I found the jar and fruit did not really tie in with the books even though they were cook books. Also I would have preferred to have seen the figs swapped so that the dark one did not rest in front of the dark part of the jar. You have brought out their texture beautifully however - not an easy thing to do. Well done. Nov 11th

54 Nov 17 Comment This really made me smile and the palm reassured me the sea would be warm when, and if, baby eventually got there! Then again with so many balloons maybe he's still floating along over the islands. A delightful picture and what a sweet baby. Think I would have liked to see more of the palm stem as in the original photo but that's just a small critique. Nov 11th
