That reactor filter sure makes for some interesting effects. I am enjoying playing with it. Great picture again Peter. Perhaps cutting the stones in half horizontally to exclude the bottom might tie the building and stones together better? |

A most unusual subject and you have had a good effect on it. Love the background too. |

My computer hung and I lost my original comment. However I asked if those funny red and white bits were supposed to be the "slippers" then leave them out - I find them distracting. I do find the picture quite fascinating and the dramatic colours are great! |

Thanks for your comments Marie. Sorry you could not get the software - I have yet to experiment further with it.

I always find the spoonbill a comical bird but here you have caught it at its best. Perfect background, perfectly graded and flattering the bird. The branch gives it a good resting place without distracting from the bird itself. A picture to be proud of and hang on the wall. |

What can I say that the others haven't already said? The filter symplified a rather busy photo into something quite ethereal, lovely colours, lovely picture. |

Very clever way to indicate what you were trying to say. Quite fascinating - giving one pause to think! |

Fascinating flower - the colours and angle it hangs are most unusual. I too have never seen the grid used in this fashion but it works in this instance - I think mostly because of the interesting texture you have achieved. A picture which grows on you. Well done! |

A delightful happy picture of your granddaughter. Congratulations on the event to come. Exciting. However I too find the drips disturbing though perhaps if the buildings in the background were taller, it might blend better. Beautiful colours throughout. |

An interesting idea but still needs a little work as mentioned by the others above - the light/colour on the girls, the same bent head on girls 2 and 4, and the strange legs of the girl out in the open. What disturbs me most however is what is she sitting on - grass, or on top of the bushes? Those bushes do not come to a natural edge. Fascinating idea and well worth developing further. |

Again a very nice image you have put together. Looks like everyone had great fun! For me the disturbing thing is the vertical effect from the edge of the white behind the boy coming through under the "fire" round his finished image. The hint of the bottom of shoes under Darth, with shadow, would just show up enough to negate the floating effect. Love the bright outlines. |

I tried two birds but found it made the picture too busy. Besides I wanted the emphasis to remain on the red floats and not the bird - it should remain incidental. Perhaps it should have been smaller but then it would have been out of proportion to the float, and we all know the size of a sea gull. Difficult. |
