I find hydrangeas rather dowdy harsh flowers - certainly not my favourites but the treatment you have given it has softened it into something really attractive. Well done! |

You should be very proud of catching this bird in this position and I can only conclude the judges were blind and without hearts. I would be shouting it from the hilltops if I had caught it so! The background you have given it is very sympathetic and enhances the delicacy of those wonderful wings. |

Super effect - wonderful result. Must admit that when I was reading what you did to this poor little Iris I wondered how it would survive the onslaught! But it seems to have liked it for it is lovely. Well done. |

Alas Christmas already seems long past but this makes a great reminder of the cheerful atmosphere everywhere. Sorry 'flu kept me off my computer so long. |

Welcome Phillipa. You start with a bang! A fascinating image which keeps one looking and looking yet again. Something very different and food for thought. One of those pictures one can hang on the wall and puzzle over every day. I can well imagine it took a while to line the eyes up but you achieved it well. Excellent! |

I love seeing people coming out of the picture and you have done this well though the bride and groom also need a little shadow. I find the picture part looks more "finished" with a stroke of border round it - use a layer mask to remove it from over the people if necessary. |

Sorry 'flu kept me off my computer. I love the colours in this image but afraid it confuses me mainly because the "reflections" of the people are shown against two different surfaces. The bodies are on presumably water on the pier which also reflects the wonderful sky. But then the heads would not show as reflection on the blue of the sea. The surfer adds to this confusion. If we are viewing the sky under the pier then there would be no reflection. Sorry but something is not quite right - but the colours are magnificent. |

Sadly the "white lines" are the sugar cane fronds blowing in the wind behind her head. Should I perhaps paint them green? |
