51 Feb 23 Reply Thank you for your comments. I do like to add a frame. I think it helps to finish the image. Spring is coming! I imagine in your area of the country, you may be seeing bulb plants pushing up.

51 Feb 23 Reply Thank you for your comments. It's actually a small irrigation ditch. I was standing on a little foot bridge over the ditch when I snapped it - the photo, not the bridge... There is a walking path on the right that I cropped out.

51 Feb 23 Reply Thank you for your comments. The day probably was nicer than it may appear in the photo. It is so dry here that plants go dormant in the winter. I do like adding a frame because I think it makes the image appear more like it is hanging on the wall.

51 Feb 23 Reply Thank you for your comments. I'll be happy to look at the info you send about adding frames. I can add a frame easily in Snapseed, but this was a case of managing where I stored the edited image - which was on a pc. So, rather than pushing it back to my iPad, I just used PS. It was just easier and faster.

51 Feb 23 Reply Thank you for your comments. We have those clear dry skies here during the winter, so it can reduce distractions. I think I might have overdone the vignette a bit.

51 Feb 23 Comment I laughed at Dick's comment, "It is a shoe in!" But, what's that large black thing with all the dials and knobs on the right side? Some new tech or something? :-)

Black and white was a good choice for this shot. I had to be fun to be out shooting with a group. I enjoy doing that, too. Photo walks get people out and shooting.

51 Feb 23 Comment Once the garden fully fills-in it will be a great place to revisit often. Lots of time and effort go into creating and managing these spaces, but they are, in my opinion, worth it.
Your added backdrop does make the area seem more complete.

51 Feb 23 Comment Looks cold! The steam rising in the sunlight is great. Clear, blue, dry, skies, too. Nice capture.

51 Feb 23 Comment Very nice landscape image. Leading lines, wide open spaces, foreground rocks, the building in the middle, and clouds (and Manhattan) in the distance. All the good stuff. The surf is strong, and one can almost hear the waves breaking. Nicely captured.

51 Feb 23 Comment I am unable to comment on your image. Just to editorialize a bit: It's interesting that some individual felt empowered to deface an 18th century structure. Many years ago, I photographed graffiti on rail cars and was reminded by someone that I was actually documenting a criminal activity.

51 Feb 23 Comment Nice silhouette image. Those Arizona sunsets and sunrises with clear dry skies do create these opportunities. You managed to find a pyramid of sorts in Arizona, too.
