Thank you for your comments. I agree that a viewer's eyes are usually drawn to any text in an image. In this case the text was key to the photo, so it worked out well.
I think it would have been better if I had some control over DoF, though, so the distant objects on the left were soft.

Thank you, Dave, for your comments. The rain helped to saturate the colors - and so did Snapseed, I suppose. The grass was newly installed as were the trees. It all worked in my favor. I need to go back there this year and see how it looks now.

Thank you for your comments. The rain that just passed was a big help. It made the grass greener and the bricks redder. I just happened to be there for it. Pure serendipity.

Thank you for your comments. I processed this image with Snapseed last year, and I don't remember the steps. I can't be sure, but I don't think I used the HDR setting. It is likely that I used the "Ambience" slider to get the clouds to look like that, so that may be the explanation. My memory isn't what it once was.

Ospreys are really cool. I remember seeing a news piece years ago about an Osprey nesting on a high-rise window ledge in New York or Chicago, or someplace like that. Anyway, this was a great opportunity to see the creature in motion. One can occasionally find a bird sitting on the nest, but you managed to get some action! Nice effort and certainly worth it.

I have not tried the live photo, or long exposure, thing with my iPhone. I'll have to do that this summer. I agree with you that that original shows the dangerous raging water better than the smoother version. I do understand people's interest in smooth flowing waterfalls and small rocky streams, but water like this is all about power and danger - in my opinion.

Sol, this is like one of those inspirational poster images. There could be text saying, "Difficult Journeys lead to Beautiful Destinations." - that sort of thing. Nicely seen and captured.

Another good landscape image. The water, trees and rocks make an interesting image with lots to see. The people on the beach add scale and context. I was surprised to see all the material wash up on the beach, but I suppose that happens with stormy weather. My only quibble might be the bright tree leaning out to the right edge. I find it a bit of a distraction, so I might darken it a bit.

Your efforts in improving the image worked well. The viewer's eyes are drawn into the image and down the path. One wonders what is beyond the end of the path. I'd want to investigate. Looks like it's a good place to visit. Nice shot.

I do like BW images, and this was a good opportunity to use it. The dark framework against the light sky works well. The vegetation is in silhouette and that doesn't bother me too much although that landing for the bridge structure is blotted out - it's a green bridge with green vegetation, too. I don't know if that could be remedied with the mobile apps we have. Nice idea, and I'm glad someone else was driving so you could safely take the shot!

Thank you for your comments. One of the reasons to crop it this way was to eliminate most of the much brighter and somewhat cluttered left side of the original. The right edge more-or-less reflected the left edge of the roof crown, so it seemed like the right thing to do. Glad it "sparked" your interest... ðŸ˜Å

Thanks, Jerry. The landscaping was freshly done, so it emphasizes the old and new idea. The trees seem to highlight and frame the old sign, too.
The silver post is a bollard. Apparently, there was some concern about cars trying to drive into the open space. It may have been the parking area for the old business. Don't know for sure.
