A passer-by said, "I think they're posing for you." She was right. I took a half dozen shots, but this first one with the crossed beaks was the best. They stayed right there for as long as I was near the area - which was about 30 minutes.

Your edits make this a good image. The saturation, texture, and the blur are well done. Spring flowers are always a welcome sight. Nice!

My thoughts are like Richard's. The contrast between new life and death is good. The hope of spring. We can imagine how important spring was to pre-industrial folks. But I digress. Nice treatment. Did you try shooting from a lower angle?

I like the saturated colors in this scene. Sort of representative of a happier time than we have been in for the last year or so. Nice angles, too. The bird is great. If it were more centered, then it might become too important in the scene. As it is, it just adds a little sense of motion. Just my thoughts.

Good edits make this a nicer image. The colors are strong and the bright whites draw my eyes. Maybe a macro shot of the blossoms would be good, too. Nice!

Nice treatment of this tree image. The edits and the textures enhance it well. The tree does look like someone was fooling around with Mother Nature. There might be a story there. Nice work - on the image.

I can't add much to what the others have said. Diane's position in the sunlight gives scale and context to your image. The clear, dry, Arizona sky is very blue. The focus is sharp. It's a good all-around image showing the beauty of the outdoors. It's a postcard.
