Really nice image. You really should think about a calendar. I like the colors and the composition a lot. The fields of yellow are beautiful. The old buildings add so much interest. Nice clouds, too.

This is a good image. The colors, the trees, and the path are very nice. I like the composition. I don't think it needed a border, really. It's strong enough without it, so your second thoughts about the frame seem right to me.

I like the blues in the blossoms and the green leaves. You're apparently having a great year in the garden! Its a nice shot. If I might suggest an alternative edit, I'd crop it square and move the blossoms to the upper left side a bit. That would minimize the hot spots on the tree and keep the blues and greens. Just a suggestion.

Nice image of these old workhorses. The dry sunny AZ weather keeps them from rusting away. The word that comes to mind is "patina". Nice shot.

The yard looks nice. Interesting use of the app. I was not familiar with it prior to your post. The image invites me to spend some time to sort it out. Glad you included the original to help with the decoding.

As the others have mentioned, your edits really made this shot. The bright red stands proud against the subdued background. The bright twigs don't worry me too much because they lead the viewer's eye to the center color. Nice shot and edits.

I had the same issue. Blackie isn't always intuitive. When you've finished your edits, press the large round circle in the middle of the bar at the bottom of the screen. You should hear a fake shutter sound. That signifies that Blackie has captured and saved your edited image to the camera roll.
Thank you for your comments on my image. |

Thank you. I will say that I loaded the edited image into Photoshop to make sure I had the vertical and horizontal lines where they should be. Making precise corrections In PS is, for me anyway, easier than trying to do it on a small screen with my finger. I guess I should invest in a newer iPad and a stylus! |
