Thanks, Dave, for the suggestion. I think the slightly bright, slightly desaturated appearance is what I wanted. In my opinion, it adds to the frosty feel - almost like the image is slightly frosted over. |

As the others have said, it is a great composition of an iconic scene. If I had a suggestion, I might say the the foreground seems a little too bright and distracts from the main subject. I'd darken the rocks in front and brighten the area around the lighthouse. |

As the others have said, nice catch. Right place, right time, handy camera. Nicely processed. Good job! |

Great image. Another calendar shot. Nice colors and lots to see. Mt Rainier is framed so nicely. Well done. |

Fun snap and nice catch. The deer is watching to see if you are a threat, of course, but it must be somewhat familiar with people to be resting so close to the road. |

As the others have mentioned, your angled placement of the fungi really adds to the shot. Nice colors, too. It does look good enough to eat, but I lack the knowledge to tell which fungi are safe! |

Nice colors and an interesting subject. One wonders why the arm of the cactus grew that way. Lots of possible stories. Nice shot. |
