51 Nov 19 Reply Thank you for your comments. I have to agree that the somewhat flat coloration of the building is interesting, and since the sky has the same featureless appearance, there is an interesting comparison of the two. Glad you liked it. Nov 18th
51 Nov 19 Reply I think the shades are down because the sun in the cloudless sky is a bit too much. It was about ten am and this side of the building faces east. There is a growing demand for housing in the downtown area and no room for new construction, so builders are planting apartments and condos wherever they can. It makes for some odd -and expensive - developments. Nov 18th
51 Nov 19 Comment As I think I have mentioned in the past, I'm not a fan of the Waterlogue app because I feel it removes too much detail. However, I will have to say you've done a good job with it in this image. The shot is all about the vibrant colors and that works out well. Nov 8th
51 Nov 19 Comment Vast expanse. All the right elements: the large rock in the foreground, the vegetation in the middle and the horizon in the distance. "Old phone" or not, it takes good photos in the hands of a good photographer. Nov 8th
51 Nov 19 Comment Nice capture. The arc in the mist traces the arc of the bridge down to the water. The column of mist rises up at the center of the bridge. Good stuff. It's a fall calendar shot. Nov 8th
51 Nov 19 Comment Nice scene. The pathway takes the viewer's eyes into the scene. Lots of nice fall colors - maybe a bit too saturated, but I think it's okay for a seasonal shot. By comparison, the original looks flat. The person in the distance adds perspective and depth. I like it. Nov 8th
51 Nov 19 Comment I think I might have been dizzy looking up at the staircase. Nicely done. I agree with Donna Paul about the color version being warmer, but the BW is more about the structure and the design - which I like. Nov 8th
51 Nov 19 Comment Nice colors and composition. The trees, the rock outcropping, and the far shoreline lead one's eyes into the scene. Pleasant fall image suited for a calendar. I wouldn't have noticed the added frame if you hadn't mentioned it. Nov 8th
