Great! Good to know the dark cloud bases are properly represented. I'll have to stop thinking HDR creates them. Thanks for the update. |

Those rail fans. They really do get involved in the hobby, but they should have been more respectful of your position near the tracks. This may be the same engine that came through Wyoming recently and a group of friends followed the engine across part of the state to get images. Good fun and nice photos, too. |

I'm glad you included the original. It helps me to make sense of what's in the image. It looks like a flower of sorts which is in contrast to the actual scene. Interesting use of the app. |

I really like Edinburg. It's been a dozen years since I was there, and I still have fond memories. A resident, when asked about the weather replied: "It's varying degrees of terrible." It does rain a lot, but it's beautiful. I could go on, but now about your photo: Nice shot of the bridges. The post edits reveal the underside of the structure and add to the image. Since this isn't highly colored, I wonder if you considered a BW conversion. |

Interesting find and nicely seen. That juxtaposition of the office chair and the construction area is good.
Safe travels! |

What a great opportunity to see these young women in this tough competition. Nice colors and action. I had to chuckle at your comment: "tiny bit of curves". I'd have to agree. |

Another great calendar image. Such a nice scene with the rolling landscape and the rows of wheat. The Palouse is an amazing place. I have to add that I think the Snapseed edits may have included a little HDR since the clouds appear unnaturally dark on the bottoms. It's my standard whine about HDR images, so this isn't an isolated whine. Also I think it might be interesting to crop the image to remove some of the sky and focus on the layers of rolling hills - like through the center where the shadow crosses the last hill. Hope that makes some sense. If not, let me know and I'll do a crop and send it to you. |
