Jerry, this discussion got me thinking about an alternate way of processing using only Snapseed. I do like the idea that we investigate new and different apps as we edit our images, but for me anyway, Snapseed has so much power that I always try it first. I hope you don't mind that I attempted an edit of your image for illustration. For this version, I used the tuning sliders to open the shadows a lot and to reduce contrast a little. Then I converted it to black and white with the fine art preset. Next I used the warmth slide in tune image to add warmth, which created the sepia toning. I'm not claiming it is the best version, only an alternative. |

Interesting experiment using the app. Sort of like graffiti on the wall, I suppose. Cute dog. Great face. |

I think this would be a great jigsaw puzzle. Lots of similar lines, colors and shapes to sort through. Does anyone do jigsaws any more? Anyway, nice colors and a nice scene. Maybe I'm missing something, but I feel the horizon isn't level. It could be the way the terrain lays there. |

Lynne, this is a great shot. It is abstract, I suppose, but the lines are clean and sharp and encourage the viewer spend some time following the patterns of the curves. There is a strong suggestion of a face which holds my attention. Nice! |

I like the composition and the yellow flowers sprouting out from the dry brown vegetation. As Jerry mentioned, I think a little darkening around the sides and also some added contrast would help to make the bright yellow stand out a bit more. Nice shot. |

Nice treatment of a difficult lighting situation. Opening the shadows revealed more of the scene. I like the tonal treatment which adds a bit of age to the photo. Good job. |

As the others have noted, the leaf adds scale and interest to the image. I like the ice flow from the top. One gets the idea of how it formed and the cold temps that were involved. Nice shot and straight out of the device, too. |
