The plant looks like a feather in the cap formed by the arch. The textures and subtle colors are interesting. Age and history are suggested, making the viewer wonder what is contained in the space behind. Nice find. I might have tried rotating the image to level the lintel, but on the other hand, the slight angle may add to the feeling of age. |

I like the colors and the textures. They give a real feeling of history. One can imagine how the window was used over all those years. It's nice that the site is being preserved. As Phill suggests, if one wants to collect textures for later use as overlays, places like this are ideal. |

When I first saw this image, I didn't see the actual bird. The bright ribbon caught my eye, of course. If it was an accidental creation, then it's was a happy accident. Very creative image. |

I like the red horseshoe that directs my eyes to the center platform (I don't know the proper term for that place). The lens and post worked well to capture the scene. Beautifully detailed, but reverent, interior. Lots to see. |

Lighthouses do make nice photos. Those folks at the top are getting a great view - as long as they don't look down! I like the dramatic clouds, too.
It's good to try out new apps, so thanks for the reference to SKRWT. I think I might suggest trying the "perspective" tool in Snapseed instead. In this case, the "free" adjustment would allow you to tug the tilt, leaning, and height in all directions. |

I like your image. I like the colors, the clouds, and the whole beach theme. The post processing gave the photo a painterly look which seems appropriate. I wouldn't have guessed NJ. I might suggest that you could check the horizon line.
I was a Kelby follower and subscriber at one time, too. Like you I moved away, although I did learn a lot from the presentations. My issue with touch edits rather than by mouse is that "finger painting" is less precise. But most artists I know would say that's a good thing! |
